Josh Jacobson is an advisor to FAR’s Board. He is also filling-in on a temporary basis leading operations for the Alignment Research Center (ARC). Josh has an ongoing research grant from the Long-Term Future Fund and Open Philanthropy Project, and he has previously worked across organizational leadership, operations, and/or research for Anthropic, the Future for Humanity Institute (EpiFor), the Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative, the World Bank, SocialCops, Innovations for Poverty Action, the Centre for Effective Altruism, and PepsiCo.
